623.700 (25S) Seminar in Multimedia System Starting from a given research paper (or a few papers), the students will enhance their skills to search, read, evaluate, understand, and summarize relevant literature on a new scientific topic. They will study this new topic to a degree that they will be able to present it to an interested, but non-expert audience in a readily accessible manner, both in writing (seminar paper) and in a presentation (seminar talk). The seminar will try to "simulate" a scientific conference, thus will include assessment of and feedback on the (seminar) paper by peer students and the course instructor (peer review process).
